As an EarMarked by Disney Authorized Travel Agency, we have access to Disney branding, training, and benefits that most agencies do not. With that privilege comes responsibility. Our goal is to represent Disney professionally, accurately, and in a way that protects both Disney’s brand and our agency’s relationship with them.
1. Never Represent Yourself as DisneyAcceptable Examples: - Disney Travel Specialist
- Disney Destination Expert
- Disney Vacation Expert
- Magic Mornings Vacations Travel Advisor
Not Acceptable Titles:
- Disney Travel Agent
- Disney Vacation Planner
- Disney Travel Planner
- Disney Travel Consultant
- EarMarked by Disney Agent
Disney specifically prohibits agents from presenting themselves as employees, representatives, or agents of Disney. Always make it clear that you work for Magic Mornings Vacations, not Disney.
2. Use Disney Assets CorrectlyOnly use: Images provided through Disney Travel Agents, Approved Disney marketing assets
Official Disney logos and graphics provided to MMV
Do NOT use: Download random Disney images from Google, Create your own Disney logos, Modify Disney logos, Use Disney characters as part of your personal branding
Remember: Disney owns all Disney intellectual property and is very protective of it. 3. Be Careful with Pricing
One of the biggest
unwritten expectations from Disney is professionalism around pricing.
Avoid:
- Posting exact commission amounts
- Discussing commission percentages publicly
- Sharing exact agency incentives
- Posting “I made $___ selling this Disney trip”
- Creating urgency based on unpublished promotions
- Sharing travel agent-only pricing
- Revealing confidential supplier information
Instead: Focus on vacation value, unforgettable experiences, and expert planning.
4. Only Share Accurate Information
Before posting, verify dates, promotions, attraction details, and current policies. If something is rumored but has not been officially announced, do not present it as fact.
As an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, we are expected to share accurate, current, and verified information.
5. Stay Positive and Professional
As Disney partners, our content should be family-friendly, inclusive, respectful, and aligned with Disney’s brand values.
Avoid offensive language, political commentary related to Disney content, criticism of Disney decisions, or public complaints about Disney policies. Constructive feedback should be shared through professional channels, not public-facing marketing.
6. Use Social Media Responsibly
You are encouraged to share your personal Disney experiences, original photos and videos, approved Disney assets, and educational content that helps clients plan their vacations.
Do not present yourself as a spokesperson for Disney, announce news before it is officially released, share confidential training materials, or redistribute Disney-provided assets through editable Canva templates or other public resources.
7. Be Transparent
Always be clear that you are a travel advisor with Magic Mornings Vacations. You're helping clients plan Disney vacations, but you are not a Disney employee. Transparency builds trust and protects both you and our agency.
8. Use Content Responsibly
Stick to your own photos and videos, official Disney Travel Agent resources, and licensed music available on social platforms. Avoid using copyrighted artwork, screenshots from Disney movies or shows, professional photography taken from other websites, or content created by others without permission.
9. Set Expectations, Not Guarantees
Disney policies, promotions, room assignments, and availability can change at any time. Avoid making promises about future discounts, upgrades, or Lightning Lane availability. Instead, use phrases like, "Based on current information" or "Subject to Disney policies and availability."
10. Protect Client Privacy
Never share reservation details, confirmation numbers, travel documents, screenshots containing personal information, or client names without their permission. Protecting our clients' privacy is always a top priority.
10. When in Doubt, Ask
If you're unsure whether a logo, image, promotion, pricing graphic, or social media campaign is appropriate to share, check with the MMV leadership team before posting. A good rule of thumb: if it could make someone think you work for Disney, reveal confidential information, or misuse Disney intellectual property, pause and ask first.
11. Keep Compensation and Revenue Private
Please do not publicly share commission percentages, supplier overrides, EarMarked requirements, agency revenue goals, or personal earnings from bookings. Our marketing should focus on the value we provide clients and the experiences we help create—not advisor compensation.
Thank you for helping us maintain a positive and healthy relationship with Disney by abiding by these guidelines!
